I own a small hotel in Houston. My Stand Seam Roof was damaged by Hurricane Ike. The Insurer says it was installed wrong. Fasteners too far apart. The work was done 15 years ago. I hired a professional and paid them the amount they asked for to do the work. I own other buildings and have had work done over the years. I have been educated during this process that guidelines for wind lift and all keep changing or improving. I think they are apoplying todays specifications to a roof that was done 15 years ago. Where can I find installation specifications to install a batten stand seam roof from 1995? It is over a plywood deck.
