I am having a problem with condensation. I have a relatively new home with shingle shake roofing. I have some dripping from the flush mount canister lighting. There is minimal insulation behind these canisters. The remainder of the construction is as follows: metal roof, 2 layers of tar paper, 7/16 plywood, then inside 1/16 styrofoam, R36 insulation, tongue and groove ceiling. The roof is on 2x12s. It does not leak much or all of the time. It seems like only in the middle of the day but not every day - even when it is cold outside. Any suggestions?

Insulation and ventilation may be issues. There also could be a roof leak.
