The ridge vent sounding like a logical idea when proposed to me several years ago, but the buildup of small debris from the local trees is getting to the point of being a hazard. Is this normal? Did my contractor not perform the install correctly?

I really cannot diagnose this sight unseen and long distance. I would suggest sending photos to the ridge vent manufacturer. Todd Miller
