My contractor has put 3/8" osb over 4:12 roof pitch truss, but I heard that you have to have minimum of 1/2" or preferrablly 5/8" plywood for roof sheathing. What do you recommed to correct the problem?
And what does go under the standing seam metal roofing and what order in general?
My roofer says 30# felt over the osb sheating and then install metal roof over the felt. I need your advice!!!
Thanks.

I would suggest 30# felt or a synthetic underlayment. 3/8" decking is miminal but probably will not not jeopardized roof performance as long as quality fasteners are used.
Always adhere to manufacturer instructions.
