A small building at our local church had a metal roof installed with no underlayment. Unfortunatly people have walked on it and damaged the roofing material and open up the seams. I found out that the seams were:
1" standing seam with a crimped cap
The roof material was:
27ga terne
We are going to replace the roof and was wondering what teh best underlayment is and material/gauge/seam type.
I know that when the roof is off a plywood deck will finally be applied but other recommendations will be helpful. Copper won't be used due to the enormous expense.
Thank you

There is not really a "best" suggestion I can make but there are many options. Email me at [email protected] and I will send you some additional info that should be helpful.
