house has a cathreal ceiling with 1x6 tongue and groove attached to 2x8 rafters with high density insulation between them and 1x strips attached to rafters and then the metal attached to the strips. i am having a problem only in a couple of areas with condensate running through the 1x6's.

thought i could take up the metal and put 30lb. felt paper on the top of the rafters and then put the metal back down. i have got a vapor barrier on the heated side of the insulation. i really cannot do any more with the ventilation because of the cathedral ceilings. also, only having this problem on the front of the house and not the back.

If you do not have a vapor barrier and / or you do not have ventilation, I am concerned that you will have more troubles.
