I am considering a Standing Seam Metal roof on
a Sunporch I will build. The room will have a low slope. I a wondering what slope is required for Standing Seam. Thanks, Steve

The sloped required for standing seam will vary greatly depending on the type of standing seam you go with.
Check with the manufacturers of the different types you are considering.
Many have a minimum slope of 3:12, while some standing seam systems which have larger ribs and/or are mechanically fastened can be installed on roofs with slopes as little as 1/4:12.

Most "snap lock" style products require at least a 2:12 pitch. However, there are mechanically seamed standing seams that can be used on roof pitches that are very close to flat.
