Evidently the panels are going to be too long to be trucked in. If the panels are less than 55 feet, I would buy them from a manufacturer before I would buy a machine.
Also, even if your run is longer than 55 feet and you are having to use a 3" standing seam for structural purposes over open purlins then you can run spliced sheets. They will be notched at the factory to fit together and still be able to be seamed. The manufacturer's engineering department can take care of that and also give you instructions on where to install the fixed clips and floating clips.

We happen to have a standing seam power panel machine that is up for bids right now. It comes with the computer, the trailer and has a gutter machine with it also. If you would like more info on this machine, where the bid is at, photos, and how our bidding works just contact me at [email protected]

Why don't you hire someone to roll the panels for you? You buy the coils, I'll run them for .30 $ per foot. I have 3 machines all make great looking panels. Don't waste your money buying something you know nothing about. There's a lot to consider when buying rollformers. See my machines running on youtube. Type in armourmetals.
