We have a house built in 1939 with a gavalnized metal roof. A painting contractor painted the roof with latex primer and paint and within a year it began to peel. It has been scraped and paint again since then and has now bubbled and peeled. We had a sandblasted do a test strip for removing all the latex-no luck.Can you recommend a stripper and paint we might use to fix the problem once and for all. There are a number of companies you will find through a google search for "metal roof restoration". They sell various elastoemeric coatings. I am not guaranteeing they will work but it may be good to consult with them.
