We have a house built in 1939 with a gavalnized metal roof. A painting contractor painted the roof with latex primer and paint and within a year it began to peel. It has been scraped and paint again since then and has now bubbled and peeled. We had a sandblasted do a test strip for removing all the latex-no luck. Can you recommend a stripper and paint we might use to fix the problem once and for all. The roof is in good shape under the peeling paint and we would really like to keep it. Thanks

There are a number of companies you will find through a google search for "metal roof restoration". They sell various elastoemeric coatings. I am not guaranteeing they will work but it may be good to consult with them.
