We are comparing two roofing companies. One wants to put the metal coated roof without batten and no insulation (Metro II) and the other wants to put the roof on using the batten system (Decra). Part of the home is cathedral ceiling and the other has attic space. Is one of these installations better than the other??

Not really. It is just the way the difference panels install. The batten system may have better energy efficiency. Todd Miller
