I bought a restored arts and crafts home where a new galvanized steel roof was places about 12 years ago. Multiple tiles are now rusted and I am trying to identify the manufacturer to determine if there is some sort of warantee on the panels and if not how best to repair them. The painting company working on my house wants to clean and prime the rusted panels and repaint the entire roof. Picture of tile attached

I have forwarded additional pictures to your email as well as attached one here which is a close up of the unrusted shingles. I assume it just had a factory finish

Does the roof appear to have been painted at one time or do you think it was installed unpainted?
If it was unpainted there probably was no rust warranty.
A couple of possible manufacturers are Springhouse Shingles and W F Norman Corp.
A better picture might allow me to narrow it down better though.
