i work for a metal roofing company, we manufacture and install a screw-down (3'), a snaplock (knudson), and a berridge standing seam (z-lock). i was hoping to get some advice or tips as far as installing the standing seam over 1'' rigid insulation. what type of ins. board should i use that is affordable and beneficial to the home owner.our smap-lock has a nail-strip and our berridge panels have a continuous clip, how would i fasten my panels securely if im going through the ins. do i have to use a certain type of clip to keep my pans tight to the ins. layer? i want to install a better roof system and know this system is very attractive to clients. any help would be greatly appreciated. thx.

Austen,
I am sorry. This is outside my expertise. Have your talked with Berridge and Knudson. Surely they would have some answers or be able to refer you to someone?
