I have a metal roof on our house and we started to finish the up stairs but we still get water drips even with the two vapor barriors. The house has a beam running thought he middle part blocking the venting to the unfinished attic. also the attic is getting a lot of water also but it is un heated. I though of drilling hole in the beam for air flow to the entire back part of the roof to allow air flow to the ridge vent.Should i install a power ridge vent or would the baffling that i installed between the two vapor barriors be enough to take care of the moisture issue ?

You need to have adequate intake and exhaust venting.
I am not sure I understand where your vapor barriers are.
Have you discussed matters with the manufacturer of your roofing?

The frist vapor barrior is directly under the metal roofing anf the second is under the fiberglass insulation(living area) the attic only has one and it is directly under the metal roofing. I am not sure who made the roofing it was on when we bought the house. the roof slope is about 2 to 3 12 pitch. with baffles installed in the living area. How much air flow would be needed apx.? it is about 20 foot long roof and 30 feet wide.
