Hi:
If I have my terms correct, on a traditional barn corrugated roof, which has gable ends, they use to insert a "globe finial" at each end.
Any resource to buy these from ?
thanks,
AJ

Thanks for the replies; after searching various lumber-yards and one roofing wholesaler, I may have found what my cousin is looking for.
A company called Klauer Manufacturing Company
http://www.klauer.com/
has a product called Globe Finials [31650-GV10] which has a 2" diameter.
This product has been ordered, so in time, we will find out if it inserts into the end of the open corrugated-ridge cap.

Klauer Manufacturing Company makes them to fit 2" ridge roll. They sell to wholesale dealers, who in turn sell them to lumberyards. To find out who the wholesale distributor in your area is, use Klauer's contact page: http://www.klauer.com/contactus.html.
If these 2" ridge-roll globe finials are too large, you can from time to time find the older, smaller sizes on eBay.
For further discussion, including some history of globe finials, see http://tinyurl.com/yzeum7c.

Hi! I do not know if these are what you're seeking but W F Norman Corp of Missouri does sell some decorative finials and ridge / hip trim for metal roofs.
Their website is www.wfnorman.com

You may have me on this one. Any of the true old corrigated roofs that I have seen do not have anything on the shett termination at the gables.
I have seen various types of ridge cap termination pieces atthe gables that were preformed and overhung the gables slightly.
I would try to contact the Wheeling-Corrigated company that still offer some of the old traditional profiles. Let us know how you make out.
