I am trying to select an ultra high performance self-adhered ,high temperature underlayment. It is a 4 in 12 re-roof with one layer of asphalt shingles in good condition, that will stay on the roof. The metal roof of choice is SteelRock Pacific Shake .:http://tinyurl.com/3b37nn
I've done the theoretical analysis/selection but am humbled by the knowledge & experience of this Forum. So,please give me your recommendations on which is the best product in this category. Here are the contenders:
1. Sharkskin Ultra SA http://tinyurl.com/39glpc
2. Titanium SA http://tinyurl.com/37553v
3. Kool Blue http://tinyurl.com/329m99
4. or,Your favorite self adhesive ,high temperature synthetic underlayment.
I have added the links above to help but if they don't work just google them. KoolBlue is under www.sdp-products.com
If you want to be discrete about your nomination, please email me : solarshading(at)mindspring.com

Does anyone know how to relate any of the results in this report to specific products? The article is from November 2006 in "Professional Roofing".It is a bit confusing -for example,it makes no mention of Palisade SA
