i am searching for metal shingles to facilitate the task of roofing a geodesic dome.what are the most recycelable materials..and where do i find them?
are there more nontoxic options to the bichethane needed underneath?
are there factors we should be aware of when doing this our selves??

All great questions.
All metals are 100% recyclable.
Aluminum however has the highest percent of recycled content initially -- over 90%. Other metals are about 35% recycled content.
For something like this, the smaller the panels the better. You may be able to form some panels over the minor angles.
There are some synthetic underlayments available which have minimal outgassing.
