I have an old tin roof from 1924. It has riddges in it. I had a contractor suggest pounding down the tin and replacing it with dimesional shingles. Is this recommended?

You would need to check but this would likely void the warranty on the dimensional shingles. Why not use this website to explore the options for a beautiful new metal roof. Todd Miller
