How do you seal a metal roof to a sky light

The skylight needs to be up on a curb. Exact flashing will be similar to a chimney and vary from product to product. Always obtain instructions from the roofing manufacturer and, if they are not helpful, use a different manufacturer. Flashing, though, comes out on top of the roof panels on the bottom and usually the sides and extends up under the roofing by several inchues on the top side. Todd Miller
