Can you clean a Mylar coating that was applied to copper domes on a church to restore them to their shiny gold look? If so, what process and/or product do you recommend?

This is dangerous ground as every coating has their enemies when it comes to cleaning. Assuming it is chalk, we always recommend using a touchless car wash soap or "Hose it Clean" product that is environmentally friendly. If it is heavy, then use a soft foam brush and it may take a few applications. Our company recommend products from Transchem.
