I have a corrugated metal roof that leaks in the area where 2 high pitched roofs (not leaking) flow onto a much lower pitch center roof. My guess is the water runs up into the open channels of this central section. I have heard there is a formed membrane that seals these channels on the ends to prevent this, but I have not been able to locate any. I have also been told that the screwws should only be placed into the high sections of the corrugated panels, and not in the valleys between. Is this true? Appreciate any help.

This area neesds to be handled with a proper pitch transition flashing. Additionally, you need to make sure that the low pitch area is not too low pitch for the type of panel that has been installed.
The manufacturer of the roofing should have some foam closures specific to your roofing but, again, I do not think that is the issue here.
Most manufacturers of these type of panels want the fasteners to be in the high spots or the wide flat areas of the panels.
