We are working with a City in the southeast on a conservation design of a 200 acre industrial park. The site is in a groundwater recharge zone so there are concerns over storm water quality. A primary concern is over zinc concentrations that come from the galvanizing process. Are there alternative materials or coatings that minimize the potential for high zinc concentrations in the storm water runoff? If so, can you provide reference material or specifications which can be incorporated in covenants and deed restrictions? Thank you for your help Sincerely, Dennis Painter

I would suggest a quality painted surface such as a Kynar 500 / Hylar 5000 coating. Todd Miller
