Hello, I am just starting to install a standing seam snaplock roof on my house. I've become perplexed over the detail of the
termination of the hips to the ridge, I'm using vented ridge on all hips and ridge,
Can you offer guidelines to this process, or, better yet a link to a detailed exploded
view of the hip intersections.
Regards,
R.

This exact procedure will vary somewhat from product to product based upon the roofing panel profile and the ridge vent design.
Have you contacted the manufacturer of your roofing for details?
Generally, though, the hip cover will usually be very low profile so that the vented ridge cap would cover it where they intersect. There should then be either plugs for the ends of the ridge vent or something would have to be formed on the jobsite for that purpose.
