The Fl building code calls for ventilation. You need to determine if you have an attic or vauted ceiling. The roof needs to be vented 50/50 between the ridge and the soffit. If it is vaulted you must provide a mim of 1" vented free air space. You then provide intake air at the eaves with a vent mesh. There are also vented profiled closure strips. If it has an attic, you can profide intake air through the soffitt and ridge exhaust by opening up the ridge and re installing the ridge cap with a profiled vented closure.

First is to go to the supplier of the metal roofing and ask them. Second chase down the manufacturer and third go to one of the metal magazines who publish supplier lists; Metalmag.com, Krause Publications, Moetal home digest, Modern Trade.
