Stove or Bath (gooseneck) vents for Standing Seam

I have a good knowledge of metal roofing but have a hard time getting info about installing gooseneck vents particularly for standing seam applications. Install manuals from virtually all metal roofing manufacturers address pipe vents but convieniently leave any other penetrations out. With exposed fastener panels it's quite simple to overlap 2 sheets. Standing seam however has very few manufacturers who will allow endlapping of panels. Add to this then, the problem of a true floating vent arises to allow the panels to expand/contract. Any suggestions aside from someone needs to invent a pipe boot style self sealing self conforming gooseneck vent. Thanks Mark

Are you familiar with the "Dektite" flashings? We do not use a lot of goosenecks around here (it makes our geese very angry -- haha) but I would think the Dektite flashings could be used. Todd Miller

Our geese are mad as hell too! Ha! I'd love to use a decktite, got any square 10 inch? I guess I didn't get my message across very well. What do you use for a 10" stove vent on a standing seam roof?

Decktite make flexible rubber flashings for this size of pipe. I believe up to 18" in diameter.
