I have a flat roof over my Florida room. Can a metal roof be used? Can I install it myself?

Many metal roofs require at least a 3:12 pitch -- that is 3' of vertical rise for every 12' of horizontal run. Roof designed for lower pitches generally require field seaming and would need to be professionally installed in virtually all cases. If you contact some of the sunroom manufacturers, you will find some other systems of metal roof covering as well for situations like yours.
