Hi,
I am planning to install metal roofing on a one story addition to a brick house.
Two questions:
How far should the metal roof panel be installed from the brick wall of the house?
How is the best way to flash the metal roofing to the brick wall?
Thanks,
LG

The metal roof panel commonly terminates just prior to the wall. Common applications will require a cut line on the brick to slide in a headwall trim piece and apply tube sealant (NP1) into the cut line. Most installers prefer a thru-wall flashing here, but it is not always possible.

Also, depending upon the type of metal roof being installed, some sort of Z Channel or the like may be helpful.
