I have purchased a home with my first standing seam roof. The house was never finished and the heating vent and hot water vent was not installed. Can it be a simple as cutting the opening, installing the vent, put a boot over it, and then seal it?

I would recommend contacting the roofing manufacturer for their advice and flashing recommendation
