Description of Training Program(s): Allmet’s extensive hands on training program covers just about every roof condition you can expect to encounter as an installer for the residential re-roof market.
Our extensive two day hands on training course will begin with an introduction of Allmet, a brief session on theory of roof installation followed by a day and a half of hands on field training.
Your instructor will walk you through the methods involved in roofing over asphalt and cedar shakes while teaching the installation methods required when roofing hips, valleys, Dutch gables, ridge/rake details and complex areas of installation such as zippers.

Hands-On Installation Training Every month, we offer a two-day class in Piqua, Ohio. Dates vary. We can also, with 2 – 3 weeks notice, set up special dates for anyone interested and regional training facilities in Fort Myers and Dallas where training can be scheduled on an “as needed” basis.
Jobsite Training With advance scheduling, we can train on the customer’s jobsite. There is a nominal fee to cover our travel and other costs. Optimally, these will be 3 – 5 day classes.
Annual Dealer Meeting We hold an Annual Dealer Meeting which is called our “Sales Success” meeting due to its high emphasis on sales training. This year's meeting will be held February 9 and 10, 2006 in Orlando, FL.
Financial Management Training We are offering a two-day class in Financial Management for Business Owners and Managers. It will be held February 7 and 8, 2006 in Orlando.
Sales Training With advance scheduling, we will hold sales training at our location or onsite for our customers. These sessions are custom-tailored to meet the customers’ needs. Additionally, we are starting to hold weekly teleconferences for sales training and are currently in the process of developing a very comprehensive offering of online and classroom training for various components of business management, sales, marketing, and installation. We have 15,000 square fete of air conditioned space dedicated to training at our main location in Piqua, Ohio.

Phase 1 - This is an introductory seminar usually conducted prior to any installations.
Phase 2 - On-site training for contractor's first installation.
Installers will gain complete and thorough understanding of KasselWood products and installation using familiar tools and techniques.
Installation manuals/instructions are provided.
Follow-up tech support provided by Regional Channel Managers and home office tech support personnel.
Phase 3 - Additional test-deck training is available in St. Louis at the contractor's/installer's expense.
Metro is dedicated to providing the best possible installation experience for your crews to learn Metro application techniques.
The Metro SMARTstart Installer Training Program is heavily subsidized at only $250.00/day for three (3) days and you get a $250.00 Metro SMARTbuck credit certificate back after completing the training. This program provides for an on-site Metro trainer to teach your crews the key points to installing a Metro roof.
